Juan Antonio Pizzi did his best to make sure Alexis Sanchez won Fifa's player of the year award.
The Chile manager voted for the country's star striker - and no one else.
The men's player of the year category is voted for by hundreds of coaches, captains and members of the media.
Each is asked to pick a top three.
But Pizzi decided there was only one man worthy of the title - his own player.
Unfortunately for Pizzi, Arsenal striker Sanchez came up short, with Cristiano Ronaldo getting the nod.
Real Madrid forward Ronaldo collected his trophy at a ceremony in Zurich on Monday, January 9.
Barcelona great Lionel Messi was second, with Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann coming in third.
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri was named men's coach of the year.
