  • Mike Dean getting Twitter abuse just like Kanye West

If Kanye West thinks he gets abuse on social media, he should spare a thought for his pal Mike Dean.

Mike Dean. Not the referee. The other one.

Mike Dean. Not the referee. The other one.

No, not the Premier League referee, the other Mike Dean.

Confused?

Well, so are a lot of people on Twitter.

Mike Dean, a multi-award winning record producer, is being mistaken for the under-fire Premier League referee of the same name.

The musician, DJ and composer is a frequent collaborator with Kanye and has worked with Jay-Z.

Premier League referee Mike Dean is been the subject of plenty of abuse since making high-profile mistakes in the match between West Ham United and Manchester United.

Some football fans have mistakenly tweeted their anger in the direction of the wrong Mike Dean.

Is Twitter name, somewhat ironically, is TheRealMikeDean.

And the Texas-born star's responses have been amazing, if a little sweary.

Record producer Mike Dean has 87,000 followers on Twitter.

Referee Mike Dean is not on Twitter, which is probably a good thing.

The hip-hop supremo has at least seen the funny side, though. Tweeting this:
