This must be one of the worst ever reasons for missing a cup final.
Guillermo Valera will miss the German Cup final after a tattoo on his arm became infected.
The 24-year-old defender is on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Manchester United but will miss this weekend's showpiece against Borussia Dortmund.
Reports in Germany say Valera ignored advice against having the tattoo and has now been suspended by Frankfurt.
His loan spell has also been terminated.

A Frankfurt statement read: "Contrary to clear instructions, Varela had a tattoo stinging, which has now infected,
"This behaviour is grossly negligent and hurts the entire team. The club can not tolerate the fact that a player against such an important game is contrary to the instructions of the coach and the doctors."
The best part is, the tattoo, on his right forearm, is not even complete - he will need several more sessions for it to be finished.
