Royal Ascot Giveaway

Royal Ascot came around this month and we saw it as a perfect opportunity to give something special to our community. We ran a competition to win two tickets to Ascot on Friday 23rd of June, along with £100 spending money for the day - drinks were on us! Two winners were picked out of over 400 entries, one from Facebook "Share to Enter" and one from our Refer a Friend scheme - Henry from London and Tom from Manchester - we hope you had a great day!

New Members Welcome Thread

A new thread has been added to our forum, allowing new members to introduce themselves. We're hoping it will make matched betting newcomers feel even more welcome in our community - whilst also allowing existing members to get a chance to know them.

Other Forum Updates

Improved Search Function

The search function in the forum has been improved. Users will need to open the Advanced Search options, then choose sort by 'post time' before clicking 'save preferences'.

Clarification on Forum Guidelines

We always aim to provide a relaxed but consistent approach to forum moderation. In response to feedback from the questionnaire, we have clarified a few of our forum guidelines. These can be found in full below.

Tagging Moderators and Administrators for Quicker Response

When asking a question or looking for advice, users can tag specific people or groups of people to ensure their post is seen.

This is likely to result in a quicker response, ensuring users get the help they need. Use @administrators and @moderators to alert all members of each group or ensure individuals are notified by tagging them.

Fewer New Threads

Members should avoid starting new threads to post their questions, as they are less likely to be seen. Also, this tends to make the forum less easy to navigate.

Instead, users can search for existing similar questions or post in relevant threads.

Daily Reload Total

Once again our Daily Reload Total broke the £1000 target, ending on just over £1400. This is despite the football season being over - a time when offers tend to dry up. But, we're proving matched betting is still very profitable, even on the off season.

New Videos

Once again, a big shoutout to our in-house Video Creator, Justin. His job is to make sure there is a detailed video for any moderately hard task on our website, with the aim to make our members lives a lot easier. This month he has added videos for: My Club Betting sign up, Unmatched bets guide, New Forum guide, Casino Guide videos: Roulette guide, Blackjack guide and Slots guide,
Royal Ascot Betway and Sky Bet offers.

June was an exciting month for us in terms of being recognised by other news sites and businesses. We've been lucky enough to be featured in The Student Pocket Guide and Non League Daily - please give them a read!

Dutching Calculator

Our new Dutching Calculator is meant to compliment our Dutching Oddsmatcher software that was released earlier this year. The calculator has two-way or three-way modes, as well as a simple and advanced setting. It's designed to help you figure out how much to stake with each bookmaker or exchange and show the potential profit or loss.

Double Delight, Hat-trick heaven calculator

Double Delight, Hat-trick heaven (or DDHH as it's commonly referred to) is a regular Betfred offer on first-goalscorer markets. The DDHH calculator is similar to the standard calculator in that it allows members to input their back stake and odds, as well as their lay stake, lay odds and commission. There is also the functionality to add your own lay stake to adjust the calculation, if needed.

It's designed to make the DDHH offers easier to complete, whilst also maximising your profits.

Improved Sporting Index Offer Calculator

The improved Sporting Index Offer Calculator is designed to maximise profits from Sporting Index's sign-up offer and refund offers. Sporting Index often email customers with a variety of reload offers - winnings boosts, refund on losses and sometimes a combination of the two.
