What's your name and where are you from?

My name is Toby and I’m from Sussex.

Are you married? Kids, family etc?

I’m a student currently studying Computer Security, no kids (that I know of)...

What's an interesting fact about yourself?

I once bought 250 Creme eggs because they were reduced to 20p each. I don’t like creme eggs now.

If you work, what is your job?

I do matched betting full time now as I’m home for summer, and part time at Uni. I volunteer at a charity shop every Monday as well.

How long have you been a member of PA?

2 months.

How did you originally hear about PA?

I’ve known about matched betting for ages, but was never in a position to do it (aka was happy with slogging away a Sainsbury job). When I got back from travelling I was unemployed so thought I’d give it a shot with the last 400 quid of my overdraft!

How have you found the service so far?

Fantastic, couldn’t rate it enough. Forum is brilliant, everyone is so helpful.

How much money do you think you’ve made so far?

Ehh I would say I made about £600 from the signups and £2,400 from reloads. I used to gamble A LOT so found it quite easy to pick up. I’d say £3,000 in total in my first 2 months, starting with just £400.

Bought anything nice with your profits?

Paid my overdraft off and just kept reinvesting it. After the World Cup I’ll probably set a bank size and withdraw all profits over that on a monthly basis.

Are you saving up for anything special?

Ideally this bank will keep growing and when I finish uni go toward a deposit/travels.

Do your family/friends understand how you make this money?

My parents were skeptical as I’ve had big problems with gambling, but they sort of get it. My mates have no idea. I just tell most people I trade stocks online or design websites.

How much time do you spend doing matched betting?

Realistically I’m working 2-3 hours a day, alongside a couple hours reading the forums and learning new methods.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting matched betting?

Get a separate bank account for keeping track of profits, much easier to see what you’re making and make sure it’s going the right way. Don’t be afraid of the forum as it’s where you will find the best ways to make money. Finally (most importantly), download a spreadsheet from the site to track all your profits, it’s fantastic to know exactly what you’re making and to look back over what’s been making the money.

What would you say to the people who think its a scam and sounds too good to be true?

Google it! It's been featured on Save the Student and also in lots of papers. It takes some time to learn everything but it’s worth it in the end! Also just use the free trial and take that concept, then multiply it by hundred seconds of offers, then you’ll see the value.

What advice would you give to new PA members that have just started?

Get on the forums and ask anything you don’t understand, and also don’t be afraid of trying new offers, they’ll become second nature the more you do them!

What aspects of the PA site do you like?

The community is great, and all the tools you need are there.

Is there anything that PA can improve?

Can’t really think of anything, it’s fantastic.
