A Scottish mum has criticised Sky Bet for refusing to pay out on a £10,000 win.

Kerri McKay, 25, says she is entitled to the cash after playing the Sporting Life Pick 7 game.

She correctly predicted five winners at two runners-up during the Cheltenham Festival.

But Sky Bet are refusing to pay, saying she submitted multiple entries from her account.

"This is nonsense," Kerri told the Daily Record.

"It angers me that they think they can get away with this.

“My gran often picks her horses from my house or I do it for her, as does my partner’s mum, who is disabled. There is no question of anything untoward going on here."

Kerry, of Coatbridge, says her account has now been suspended.

A Sky Betting and Gaming spokesman said: "By receiving multiple entries from the same customer, there has been a breach of our Pick 7 game's terms and conditions.

"We will therefore award the prize money to the runner-up."
