February 2021 Matched Betting Overview

February was ticking along quite nicely and then during the last weekend it ALL happened...

SIX 2UP FULL TURN AROUNDS!

Yes - 6! All in one weekend. Crazy stuff! Here's the brief details on all of them.

Sheffield Wednesday (vs Luton)

One member got £100 on Sheffield Wednesday at back odds of 3.6 and lay odds of 3.65. This gave them a Qualifying Loss of £1.37, but the FTA coming in then gave them a total profit of £358.63 (£260 at Bet365 and £98.63 at Smarkets using their 0% commission).

Crewe (vs Sunderland)

A good match on the odds doesn't appear to have come up for Crewe that we saw on the forum or the Oddsmatcher - can't get them all!

Plymouth (vs Lincoln)

You had to be watching on this one and cash-out at 2-2 or 3-3 for the FTA - anyone who wasn't keeping an eye and hoping for the game to end in an FTA missed out as Plymouth ended up winning it 4-3.

If CJB83 used a £50 back stake at these odds they would have had a Qualifying Loss of £1.42. The FTA coming in then resulted in a total profit of £168.57 (£120 at the bookie, and £48.57 at Smarkets with a 0% commission).

Borussia Moenchengladbach (vs Leipzig)

A good oddsmatch at 5.5 and 5.6 was seen briefly by the author first thing on the Saturday morning - but the odds were cut fast by Bet365. For those quick enough to get on this with a £50 stake, they would have had a Qualifying Loss of just 91p. The FTA coming in then would have resulted in a total profit of £274.11 (£225 at Bet365, and £49.11 at Smarkets with a 0% commission).

Parma (vs Spezia)

If Mitts79 used a £50 back stake at these odds they would have had a Qualifying Loss of just 74p. The FTA coming in resulted in a total profit of £169.28 (£120 at the bookie, and £49.28 at Smarkets with a 0% commission).

Angers (vs Lens)

This was on the Sunday 28th February.

Getting on even one of these FTAs would have been brilliant - especially using larger stakes (£100-£200 or even more). Some members managed to hit 3 over the weekend, which is really amazing...

The only thing that was missing from the weekend was a 'Perfect FTA' where both both team's in the game go 2up and the match ends 4-4 (or similar!).
