Over the last couple of weeks, I've had the pleasure of speaking on and off with one of our most successful members. With us for almost a year now, Mark has worked hard to build himself up to a large disposable income every month (the amount of which remains undisclosed for personal reasons). Even as we were speaking he was placing bets as, in his own words, time is money!
We get questions every day regarding the amount of money needed to invest and the amount of time matched betting takes. Below is a perfect example of how to make the most out of matched betting and the resources provided by Profit Accumulator, even with only a limited bank available to you to begin with.
How did you get into matched betting and how long have you been doing it?
In October 2014 a friend of mine came across the Profit Accumulator website and asked me to check it out. After watching the videos and reading the instructions I quickly saw that this was an excellent opportunity to bring in some extra cash and for obvious reasons, I have never looked back.
Are you still learning new techniques of how to earn money or does there come a point where you've 'mastered' it?
I think there are always new techniques to be learned as the offers are always changing however there does become a point where you become a lot more confident in what you are doing which significantly cuts down the time taken to do offers meaning you can tackle more offers simultaneously and therefor increase your profits.
Are you matched betting full time?
I matched bet part-time as I have a full-time job which I am very happy with. If for any reason I lost the love for my full-time job I would have no hesitation in matched betting full time.
How much time do you spend matched betting?
I usually just spend a couple of hours a day matched betting however in that time I do not mess about. I find the offers I want to do and just do them. I don't spend much time looking for brilliant matches. As long as the event I am betting on fits in with bets I would normally place, I just get on it. Time is money in this game!
How much cash have you invested?
The cash behind you isn't a big factor in my opinion. I started with a balance of £200 and that is the only money I have ever 'invested'. Apart from this £200, all the money I use for matched betting are profits that I have made. I try to avoid taking any money out of my betting balance as the more you have, the more you can make.
Are you saving your profits for something in particular?
I am not saving my profits for anything in particular but I am now in a position where if there is something that I want / need to buy I can simply just go out and buy it without having to worry about how I am going to get through the month until I get paid from the day job again.
From your point of view, how important is mug betting and how many mug bets do you recommend doing per day? (Thanks to one of our members on Twitter for this question!)
Opinions are very much divided around mug betting however in my opinion, there is only one way to keep your accounts open: make yourself look like a regular punter! I would suggest that single bets on close matches are not necessarily the way forward. I know from my time as a 'mug punter' that I very rarely placed single pre-match bets. My mug bets tend to be in-play bets or accumulators. With most matched betting offers, the qualifying bet is often required to be a single so don't completely avoid placing single bets as mug bets.
Do you have any advice for new members just starting out?
The best advice I can give is to simply read the instructions, find a match and place your bets. I see a lot of members questioning whether offers are worth doing... If they are on the Profit Accumulator website - do them!
What advantages does being a part of Profit Accumulator bring?
The advantages of being part of Profit Accumulator are very clear. You get the offers with instructions on how to do them handed to you on a plate. Support from thousands of other members and the Profit Accumulator staff!
It's wonderful to hear from all of you the ways in which our resources have helped so many of you so from the whole team, thank you to everyone who has sent an email, Tweet or message to us with your thanks and success stories!
