Matched betting hotspots: Where PA's members are from

With a membership base of 20,000, Profit Accumulator is home to subscribers from all walks of life.

From students and stay-at-home parents, to company directors and hospital workers, matched betting is a popular way to make money from home, used by a diverse variety of people for a whole host of reasons.

But where are their homes?

We've crunched the numbers to find the top 15 cities and towns our members are from.

It's little surprise to see London is home to the highest percentage of our members, with 19% being based in the capital.

But, after that, it's three major cities in the North - Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds - making up the top four.

Birmingham is fifth, with 2.52% of members living in the Second City.

Interestingly, Barnsley sneaks into the top 15, with the South Yorkshire town home to 0.79% of Profit Accumulator's members.

In fact, when looking at the stats relating to the population of area, Barnsley is top of the chart.

What does this tell us about Barnsley folk? Maybe it’s that they’re pretty savvy when it comes to cash - they don’t mind a bet but they don’t like losing.
