A couple of hours a week on and off and Neil’s now got an extra £7000

What's your name and where are you from?

Neil from Glasgow

Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Married for 15 years, work full time as a train guard.

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

Since January 2017

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

I was just leaving a job, and one of the staff suggested PA if I had the time….. best bit of advice I have had 🙂

I was out of work for a few months, so I decided to tentatively try matched betting to make a little extra money.

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

Regular £2 acca at the weekend. Still do it, but never very lucky… should just stick to MB!!!

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

I made a few stupid errors early on, thinking that cashing out would be a good idea, or taking advantage play instead of laying. I am much more confident nowadays and am happy to help others on their journey.

Can you remember what your starting bankroll (or cash float) was?

£100.

How much money have you made so far?

Just hit £7k in September. I am delighted with that considering I do it part time and mainly focus on just getting £150 a month profit… anything else is a huge bonus.

Have you bought anything nice with your profits? Or are you saving up for something special?

Nothing at the minute.

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?

My family are convinced its not legal!!!! I have introduced a couple of my friends to it, and, like me, are thoroughly enjoying Matched Betting.

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

1st of the month, I add up my totals and have a Matched Betting bible to keep notes… I have money in too many places, so would get totally confused if I lost track.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your Matched Betting?

On and off about 2 hours a week. Some days if I am not working I will spend a bit longer, but usually most at weekend or on Champions League evenings.

What kind of offers do you do to make money now? Which offers do you feel are your best earners?

Currently Betfred and Bet365 are my favourite bookies. I do a lot of ACCAs and usually get 3 or 4 up a week, so that’s my best earner. I also still have a few sign ups to do. I try to keep a few back in case I have a slow month.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

Its totally worth it. Even do the free trial and get 1 month, then make your mind up. Take your time and learn it – don’t just put money down without looking at the videos and taking advice.

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

Don’t speak to my family, they think that too!!!!

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Don’t rush, and remember it’s not a get rich quick scheme. Take your time and you will make money.
