Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Since graduating from University way back in 2005 I have always followed a traditional ‘career path’, working 9-5 shackled to a desk making money for other people! I was made redundant in March 2021.
A bit about me: Well…..I’m not married (yet) and have no kids (secretly they annoy me sssshhh).

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit but unfortunately, 99% of opportunities online are scams at worst or grossly over-inflated at best.
If I’m honest, it was the very first PA video I watched (by Sam) that gave me that gut feeling - that we all know too well - which told me instinctively that this was different. I can’t define a singular element that swayed me, but I suppose there was an honesty about the promo videos which made me want to find out more.
Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?
I would never have classed myself as a ‘gambler’, but yes, I had in the past placed the odd bet here and there and I understand how bookies operate and the basis of how odds work.
How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?
It’s VERY easy. There is a video/tutorial for everything. Anyone with zero knowledge can learn Matched Betting.
What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?
About 150 quid!
How much profit have you made so far?
This much…….
Have you bought anything nice? Or are you saving up for something special?
You need a constant bankroll tied up to be able to maximise Matched Betting – you can start with as little as 100 quid though.
Maybe one day I’ll take a lump out, but for now, I have a system whereby I withdraw enough each month to pay my mortgage.
Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?
My partner does, but she doesn’t ‘get it’ – no matter how many times I try to explain! Haha. No one else needs to know as far as I’m concerned.
Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?
I’ve tried various methods including tracking EVERYTHING via excel. Personally, I find that approach is neither efficient or sustainable. The profit tracker on PA is more than sufficient.
How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your Matched Betting?
Now anytime between 9am – 2pm and then 6pm – 9pm. Recent redundancy makes this possible. It’s not necessary to spend this much time.
What kind of offers do you do to make money now?
I stay away from EP’s and 2Ups. My personal feeling is that unless you have a huge bankroll, they are not worth it short term. Long-term though they definitely are. (Others may disagree!)
I easily make 40-80 a day on reloads, email offers, free spins etc.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

Nothing – if they do not trust my word, that means they do not matter to me.
What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?
Again - watch ALL the videos and use/learn the forum. PA provides everything you need.
What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who's just about to start doing reload offers?
At first glance, the numbers don’t add up. I found myself strategising how I would make XX a day/week via the various bet clubs. As you progress into reloads, you will find random offers regularly land via email, text, online
account etc that you could not have predicted.
