What's your name and where are you from?

My name is Anna and I'm from Brighton.

Are you married? Kids, family etc?

I'm married with two kids.

If you work, what is your job?

This! I've done a lot of different things over the years - and had my own business for 7 years before I sold it, freelance small business consultant, and now doing this!

How long have you been a member of PA?

Since the end of November 2017, but I only did it for about two weeks then before Xmas - then didn't get going again til around 10th January - and then been busy with it until now. I will be taking a break again as I have a lot of family commitments over the next three weeks. So all in all I've done about ten weeks worth of matched betting.

How did you originally hear about PA?

Google! My kids come first in everything and I am always on the hunt for jobs/ways to make money that fit round them. I had not been working for a few months and any jobs I'd seen were not really suitable. Both my kids are at specialist schools away from home and so when they come home I want to be here to spend time with them and during their holidays not at a job. I Googled ways to make money from home and matched betting came up. I had seen it before but dismissed it as I am hopeless at maths, but this time when I Googled matched betting, the PA advert for the trial offer came up so I thought 'nothing ventured nothing gained' and gave it a go!

How have you found the service so far?

Absolutely amazing! The forum is worth the £150 annual fee alone. I can't believe how quickly you get an answer to any questions. Also, the PA staff are so nice, they don't make you feel stupid despite what the question might be.

How much money do you think you’ve made so far?

I am up to around £1700 profit so far.

Bought anything nice with your profits?

NOPE!! I'm guarding it safely. Its my secret stash! Funny that I can't bear to spend any of it yet, I'm so proud of it, but its nice to know its there and that I am contributing to the family finances. I will probably start spending some in the summer but as I used some savings to get started, I kind of want to get it to a stage where all the money I use for matched betting is coming from what I have made, and I can return my savings to my savings!

Do your family/friends understand how you make this money?

NO!!! My husband thinks it's hilarious that I am making all this money from the two things I haven't a clue about - maths and football!!!! He's seen the bank statements though so he knows its true - and everyone else thinks I am gambling and its really bad!

How much time do you spend doing matched betting?

Well Im not going to lie, in the early days quite a lot. When the kids weren't around I had the time to spend on it and I checked, double checked, triple checked every last bet/lay/etc with my heart racing. I felt like I was doing something really naughty, but nearly 3 months later I am much more relaxed and am quite quick. Unless I am learning something new (a new offer, how to do it etc), then I really do my research. I watch all the training videos, ask questions on the forum etc, but I just accept that this is all investment in my learning and I will reap the benefits in the long term. I don't do it in the evenings and/or weekends, that's my family/husband time , and as I said  I won't be doing any when the kids are back home so I can focus on them 100%. That's why I love it so much, it's so flexible I can fit around when and how I want to!

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting matched betting?

Just take the first steps...don't overthink it - just do it. Then if you like what you see, follow the PA advice to the tee. I just went down the list of sign up offers and never got sidetracked with the sudden influx of emails etc from bookies offering me this and that as I knew I didn't have the knowledge to deal with them. Now I can and I am happy to work out what is a good offer or not - or ask on the forum. I am also super organised (one of my personality traits) and I keep records of EVERYTHING on a excel spreadsheet, so I can track everything and know where all the money is etc.

What would you say to the people who think its a scam and sounds too good to be true?

It's definitely not. I did feel bad at the start but now I don't at all. I actually think the bookies have no morals, the stuff they send to me trying to get me to part with my money they deserve for us to take advantage. For example, if you had an alcoholic, you wouldn't say 'here have a bottle of Jack Daniels on us', but that is what they do. They are continually offering stuff to get you to gamble. So I am happy to do it this way and earn money from them. I am not doing the big bets anyway so I don't feel so bad!

What advice would you give to new PA members that have just started?

Use the forum - it is BRILLIANT!

What aspects of the PA site do you like?

Most of it really. The forum, offers, Oddsmatcher, Acca Catcher, all the different calculators - all of it!! For £150 a year its a no brainer!
