I trusted the PA process - if they are recommending casino offers then I’d be a bit silly not to do them.
Date of Interview:
12th October 2021
What's your name and where are you from?
I'm Lewys, and I'm from Swansea
Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m 26 & I work full time as a manager in a gym.
How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?
I joined at the beginning of October 2020, so just over a year now.
How long had you been doing matched betting before deciding to do casino offers?
I think it was only a few days before I started to do some of the risk free & low risk sign up offers. I got stuck in pretty quickly.
What made you interested in starting casino offers? Were you nervous at first?
I don’t think I was particularly nervous. No real thought went into starting them to be honest. I’d done quite a few sports sign ups before my first casino one so I trusted the PA process - if they are recommending casino offers then I’d be a bit silly not to do them.
What was your starting bankroll?
I started PA with about £150. I’ve just had a look at the profit tracker on PA & my bankroll was £220 before completing the Coral casino welcome offer (I made £95 from this).
How much profit have you made from casino offers so far?
It’s hard to put a number on it as I only count my accounts once a week these days but if I were to guess it would be at least £1500.
Last month, Lewys posted in our Matched Betting Forum that his total Matched Betting profits had now crossed £5,000, following a monthly profit of almost £600. Not bad whilst working full time!
Do you track your EV vs Profit, and if so do you have a results graph that you can share?
I’m useless with Excel so nope haha, I struggled enough to make a simple profit tracker spreadsheet!
Have you bought anything nice with your profits?
Haven’t spent a penny. I’m in a fortunate enough position where I don’t need to make monthly withdrawals. The bigger your bank, the more offers you’re able to do.
Have you had many big wins, or has it been small wins adding up?
My biggest win was £445 from a 30p spin on Immortal Romance.
Note: Immortal Romance is a high variance slot, so we wouldn't recommend using it unless stated in our offer guides.
Did you find it hard to overcome downswings, or have you always trusted the process?
It’s always annoying when you finish an offer with less money. This is weird but I look at my Matched Betting money as an investment/stock/ISA etc - sometimes it’ll go down but I know that in the long run it’ll go up.
Do you have any advice for making the transition from casino welcome offers to casino reload offers?
Try not to get disheartened if you’re down after your first 5 - 10 offers. You can easily make that money back elsewhere! Keep at it & you’ll reap the rewards.
Do you still do sports offers alongside casino offers?
I do as much as I can but I’d say casino is at least 60% of what I do these days.
How much time do you think you spend doing sports and/or casino offers? When do you tend to do most of your offers?
It varies from day to day to be honest. Some days I’ll spend at least 1-1.5 hours, others less than 30 mins.
What would you say to people who think casino offers are just gambling?
I can understand that mindset if they’re inexperienced with betting. I’d suggest doing all the risk free + low risk sign-ups & if they decide it’s not for them after doing so then fair enough. They’re missing out though!
What advice would you give to someone first starting casino offers?
Be patient, do the lowest spin value at first to minimise variance + protect your bankroll. Once your bank starts getting bigger then you can start to increase your spin value (if you want to) as you’ll be able to manage any potential downswings better.
