What's your name and where are you from?

My name is Gaynor and I live in Kent

Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm 54, single, I don't work now as I retired early to travel. My family have grown up and Matched Betting has given me something to do during the lockdown, and I really enjoy it.

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

Just over a year seriously but I started a bit before that.

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

A guy I met in a walking group I go to, he introduced me to it. I did think if this is so good, why isn't everyone doing it.

He seemed convinced to I gave it a go. I'm so glad I did, all the others he talked to about it didn’t join up.

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

No I didn’t know much at all.

I’d never bet online or been inside a bookie.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

Very easy to start with if you watch the videos.

I did have to watch them, stop and start them while doing the bets to start with but it soon became easier. The accas took a while to master

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

I was lucky I did have a pot of cash I could borrow from that was set aside for other purposes, so I borrowed it out of that, that has now been paid back. I had £2k

How much profit have you made so far?

So far I’ve made just over £10,000

Have you bought anything nice? Or are you saving up for something special?

I love to travel. As I’ve not been able to travel recently, I’m saving it for a big trip to South America

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?

Yes. My sons think it's funny, I didn’t know much about football before but now we discuss the footie results now and talk about players and teams. They think it's great.

My friends aren't quite so keen, one of them signed up once I had tried it out for a while and she is doing well too.

When we are out in a group, some of the other women take the mickey at us talking about the bookies, free bets and horse racing. Its us that are laughing because we are making money and having fun doing it.

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

I just use the profit tracker, I used to tally it up every few weeks but not anymore, I just go through the bookies once in a while to see where all the money is.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your offers?

I spend at least a few hours a day, except for money when I have a day off. Saturday, I'm pretty much on it from 11 until 7 depending on the football and whether there are any in play offers.

What kind of offers do you do to make money now?

Until recently I was doing a lot with Betfred bet and gets, horse racing refunds on Sky and various other bookies.

The Sky boosts are great too, they are a favourite.

I mostly do sports, I have tried the risk free casino, and a few low risk casino offers, but I'm a bit risk averse so don't like losing money.

I am trying EP’s and 2ups but only just started.

How have you found PA's services so far? What are your favourite features?

The Oddsmatcher is invaluable, as are the the profit tracker and the posts about 2 ups, price boosts and lock-ins.

Also the Facebook group and Forum, with the price boost post, 2up thread and of course I couldn't go without saying that Andy's posts are brilliant too. I’ve recently been involved in his Extra Place training, which was really helpful too.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

Just go for it, I was lucky to have a large pot of cash I could use, but you don’t have to start big, just bet on events on the day so you have a quick turnaround to start and enjoy making the free money.

Don’t let negative people put you off, you’ll get all those people telling you it’s too good to be true and try to put you off. Don’t listen to them.

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

It couldn't be further from the truth.

It’s great fun and you can do this whenever you like.

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Just enjoy your Matched Betting, don’t let it take over your life.

Have a goal that you want to achieve, mine is that holiday in South America.

How did you find the transition to reload offers?

At first I wasn't sure about them, they didn't seem that profitable. But I was wrong.

Sometimes it can get overwhelming the amount of reloads that you can do. It took me a while to see that they were very lucrative if you put a bit of effort in.

Finally some quick-fire questions...

Forum or Facebook?

Betfair or Smarkets?

...and finally, a word or short phrase to sum up how you feel about Matched Betting with PA?
