'The money I've made matched betting has paid for my new car'

Steven, who lives in Northern Ireland, joined Profit Accumulator in September 2016 to make extra money. Here's his matched betting story...

How long have you been a member of PA?

Since September last year.

How did you hear about it - were you sceptical at first?

I came across it on Facebook. I was sceptical at first but when I read more into it I was quite excited. I just wanted to earn some extra money each month and see how far I could go with it - starting matched betting has been one of the best choices I've ever made!

How have you found it?

I had placed a few regular bets in the past on big events so I was quite comfortable with that aspect. When it came to working out the back and lay bets, it was a bit daunting. In hindsight, it seemed harder than it actually was. The tutorial videos literally walked me through the entire process. Once I had a few matched bets under my belt everything just fell into place and it became second nature.

What do you do with the profit you make?

My job covers my expenses, so matched betting was always just a way for me to make extra money online to treat myself. I saved my earnings up and bought myself a new car - a Volkswagen Golf. I'm bought a couple of other smaller things like golf clubs and clothes, but I try and keep a couple of thousand pounds in my pot.

How much time do you spend on matched betting?

I don't matched bet every day, but when I do I spend roughly two hours. Weekends are my biggest earners and because I'm not working I can relax, watch the sport, and know that no matter the outcome I'm still earning money - it's a great feeling!

Why does matched betting appeal to you?

I can do it when it suits me, from the comfort of my own home and still earn good money at it. It genuinely pays more than some jobs I've had in the past!

I had looked into other ways to make money online before, but matched betting has proved to be the best way by far to supplement my income.

What would be your advice to someone thinking of trying matched betting?

You will be sceptical - I was too - but ten months later I'm better off. There is absolutely nothing to regret about that. Even give the free trial a go to see if matched betting can work for you and also earn yourself some beer money in the process. As I said before; it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made!
