What's your name and where are you from?

Hi, I'm Salty, from Leicester

Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm 41 years young, married with 3 fluff balls (cats), no kids.. the cats keep us plenty busy. I work full time as a delivery driver for an online supermarket.

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

I signed up to PA at the end of November last year (2020)

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

I'd come across PA through adverts on social media over the previous 9-12 months I guess.. I'd watched the adverts a couple times as it peaked my interest, but it just sounded too good to be true so never signed up at the time

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

Yes, I've been a Leicester City season ticket holder for 30 years now and had always been big into sports, be it watching or playing. I guess I started betting when I turned 18, always loved a flutter on the Footy, horses and greyhound racing.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

I remember thinking Matched Betting was a little daunting to start with as I'd never used or made a back or lay bet with an Exchange before. But after watching the initial tutorial videos a few times over it soon started to make sense and just became even easier over time.

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

Yes, I started with £200, being cautious, but after just a few days seeing this wasn't a scam, I decided to top that up with another £300 as I realised that the bigger bankroll I had, the quicker I could get through the initial sign ups and move onto more reload offers.

How much profit have you made so far?

I've just tipped over £20,500 in 9 and half months.

Chris' profit graph shows that he has consistently made over £1000 per month from Matched Betting. His monthly profits have been increasing, with over £2,000 per month banked from May to August!

Have you bought anything nice? Or are you saving up for something special?

Well I took my initial investment back out of £500 after a couple months, so then I knew this venture didn't owe me anything but my time and effort. My wife turned 40 in February so I splashed a bit of cash on her more than I would usually have been able too I guess.

And then the only other thing really I've spent was another £500ish on tidying up the front garden which the wife had been trying to get me to do for a while.

I do plan at some point to clear some small debt we have but for now I'm keeping my earnings in my bankroll so I can continue to make more. Once travelling abroad gets back to normal I'll probably start spending some on holidays as we both missed out on 40th birthday trips to the US, Vegas/LA for me and Florida for the Wife due to covid restrictions.

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?

Erm, not really, I have tried to explain it to my parents, but it just goes straight over their heads.. some of my pals kind of get it but are still unsure exactly how profit is made from it. It's a tough one to try and explain to people sometimes.

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

No rough tots up, I'm a bit of a stickler needing to know exactly what I am earning, I used to track every single bet in the PA profit tracker for the first few weeks, maybe even 2 months.. but found that was quite time consuming. I now just use a simple note pad and pencil to keep track of my daily bets, qualifying loses and profit. I then just total it all up at the end of the day. At the end of each week I run up the total and then add that to the PA Profit tracker. So it's still a great tool to use, but quicker for me to write things down rather than updating every single bet to the tracker as I go along.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your offers?

It really does vary how much time I spend a day.. depending on what offers are available. Also having to work around my full time job too. I'm quite lucky that my job has me home most days early enough to get on horse racing offers, but I will try and get up early and get some bets on before going to work. Then finish up once home.. My days off, I do spend more time matched betting for sure, but it keeps me busy and my mind active.

What kind of offers do you do to make money now?

I try and take on as many offers as I can to be honest, but Horse Refunds, EP's have to be up their with the best earners for me at least. I don't do alot of casino offers really... I did the standard sign ups that you get with some bookies, and occasionally take part in some promotional offers that pop up but mainly stick to sports offers.

As for a favorite offer, that's a tough one as there are so many.. but as mentioned earlier, Horse Racing offers/refunds/EP's has to be the group of my favorite offers.. keep things interesting.

How have you found PA's services so far? What aspects do you like the most?

They've been great to be fair, I had a couple queries early on when I started, simple stuff looking back at it now, and I remember ringing you guys up for some advice/support and it was no trouble at all. You guys were more than happy to help... then you have the Facebook group which can be a fountain of knowledge from other members and Admin alike.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

Stop thinking about it, just get started, NOW! The support is there if you feel it's a bit overwhelming to start with.. just dive in and get going!

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

Well, it's none of them for sure. So I guess I'd say... well just that...

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Give yourself time to learn and watch the tutorial videos, they really are so easy to follow, even if it takes a few times replaying them till it makes sense. Anything we take on that's new to us can be challenging and this is no different, but the tutorial videos and support on the Facebook page is invaluable..

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who's just about to start doing reload offers?

Keep an eye out for Andy Coopers daily offers post in the Facebook group at around 11am each day, see what offers are available to you. The forum also has a couple of decent threads to read on how to make £300 - £1000 per month.. and finally just keep pushing yourself to learn more each day/week and you will succeed.

Finally some quick-fire questions...

Football or Horse Racing?

Both!

Forum or Facebook?

Facebook

Betfair or Smarkets?
Smarkets

...and a word or short phrase to sum up how you feel about Matched Betting with PA?

What was meant to bring me in just a little extra pocket money each month, has spiraled out of control and will make a massive change to my life!
