Gareth, is a lawyer from London. He uses his matched betting profits to save for a deposit on his house. He answers some questions about why he is a Profit Accumulator member...
Whereabouts do you live?
Carshalton, Greater London.
How long have you been a member of PA?
I joined 18 months ago. Timed it pretty well as I caught all of the Euro 2016 offers.
How did you hear about it?
My dad heard about it though a friend. His friend had done it for a year and apparently made quite a bit from it. Dad phoned up to tell me about it but I thought it seemed ridiculous and too good to be true.
Thought it seemed a bit too easy and was concerned that I'd end up losing loads of money. I said to my wife I'd try it for a month to see how it went. As I made money then and every month since I've kept on.
How have you found it - how much do you make from it?
I've found it to be really easy. I make at least £200 per month and some months I've made £600-plus.
Only do it at weekends and evenings, but it's still extremely profitable.
What do you do with the profit you make?
I've bought various items, but mainly used it to save for the deposit on my house, which we moved into two weeks ago. The money I've earned since the start is equivalent to almost half of the deposit!
How much time do you spend on matched betting?
About two hours per night in the evenings and a few hours on Saturdays. Hard to keep track as I don't simply focus on this and do other things at the same time, and only do it if I'm at home.
Why does matched betting appeal to you?
It's a very easy and risk-free way of making money
What would be your advice to someone thinking of trying matched betting?
Be like me: assume it seems too good to be true, but then be surprised at how much you can make.
Are there any aspects of Profit Accumulator you particularly like?
It does a lot of the work for you, and the calculators and matchers are extremely helpful.
