The odds on Conor McGregor beating Floyd Mayweather are continuing to fall, according to one bookmaker.
Ladbrokes reports that a huge swell of support for the Dublin-born MMA star has moved the price on the McGregor vs Mayweather betting market.
Having once been as long as 6/1 to defeat Mayweather in his first professional boxing match, The Notorious has since seen his odds tumble to just 7/2.
The fight is due to take place in Las Vegas the early hours of August 27.
Ladbrokes say McGregor is 10 times more popular with punters than his opponent in terms of bets placed so far, despite his opponent being the clear 1/5 favourite.
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, said: "Our traders have been confident of a Mayweather victory since we first opened the book on this bout, but the latest update suggests the British public are anticipating a completely different outcome."
McGregor vs Mayweather betting from Ladbrokes
- Mayweather - 1/5
- McGregor - 7/2
- Draw - 33/1
