What's your name and where are you from?

Sarah and I live in a town called Washington which is between Sunderland and Newcastle

Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I'm 33 years old, am married and we have a daughter who is 2 and a puppy frenchie called Bailey. I work part time as a Management Accountant. I love spending time with my family, going on holiday and nights out with the girls (really missing those at the minute!)

How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

3 months

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you initially thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

I saw a Facebook ad and scrolled past the first time thinking it was a scam. The next time I saw it I was intrigued and thought I'd watch the video. After that I joined the Facebook group and read the posts and comments from members to see what it was all about. It seemed too good to be true but several members were saying it was the best thing they did signing up and what was there to lose from trying out the free trial so I listened to them and gave it a go. So glad I did!

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

I did enjoy betting on football and big horse racing events before starting matched betting but I would usually only bet £5 a time. I know a little about football as I do enjoy watching the games but that's about it.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

It seemed a lot to take in when I first started. I didn't know what a lay bet was as never had an exchange account before now so it was more understanding that side of things. The videos and guides are brilliant though so I sat and read and watched them over and over until I got it and then the whole process seemed so straightforward. As with everything the more you do it the easier it gets. Once I'd mastered the simple bets I then moved on to learning accas (although I still don't like them) and then extra places and 2ups.

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

I initially started with £200 then after the free trial I put another £200 in so I could get through the offers quicker

Can you tell us a bit about your Matched Betting journey so far?

When I first started I just went through the list of sportsbook sign up offers and worked down the list. After about 3-4 weeks I felt like I was missing out on making more profit by not doing reloads too so I did a bit of both. I realised I actually made more on reloads so I have probably still only completed half of the sign up offers as I just do reloads now. When I get gubbed I do a new sign up offer then. I also did the low risk casino offers if it was quiet on the matched betting side.

I started extra places and 2ups as saw a lot of people saying they were quite profitable. My first 2up I was lucky and hit a full turn around so netted £190, a week later I got another for £100! I rarely do accas unless it's the skybet boosted treble.

Bet365 is probably my favourite sign up offer as it's the most profitable but you need a bigger bankroll to get to that one.

Got lucky this week with my first big casino win of £220 on a casino reload offer from jackpot joy and also won £44 on free spins with Betfair!

How much money have you made so far?

I'm currently at £2835 in profit - hoping to hit the £3k this weekend if I get some EPs or 2ups

Have you bought anything nice with your profits? Or are you saving up for something special?

Originally I joined to make some extra cash to top up my income as my earnings took a drop due to COVID. I never expected to make this kind of money so now I am hoping to save up enough to buy a bigger car next year. All paid for by the bookies!

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?

Some do but they often say it sounds too complicated or they think its a scam. I told a friend at work about it who also enjoys betting and she signed up and made £500 in her first month! My husband used to make fun of the £3 profit I was making at first now he's telling all his mates how much I'm making - those little amounts soon add up!

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

I track everything in PA's profit tracker. I store it from the matched betting calculator. I then keep a spreadsheet of deposits, withdrawals and amount in bookies / exchange accounts and make sure it matches back to my PA profit tracker. That way I know where all my money is and highlights if I have made a mistake / missed anything

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your Matched Betting?

About an hour a day and maybe 2 hours on Friday - Sundays when there's more going on. I usually play all free games first thing on a morning. Lunchtime I tend to place my bets for the day and then the in play bets on an evening. I'm quite lucky that my 2yr old has midday naps and goes to bed early in the evening so I have the spare time to do this!

How have you found PA's services so far? What aspects do you like the most?

Brilliant and so easy to use. I love the oddsmatching tool and the extra place catcher, it does the hard work for you! All you have to do is pick one and place the bets

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

It really isn't! I'm so glad I listened to others and signed up. I only wished I'd done it sooner!

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

Take your time and read everything. You can't go wrong if you follow the guides. If you do end up stuck just ask other members in the Facebook group they are always so helpful. Also, follow Andy Cooper daily posts once you are onto reloads. It's my go to place to see what bets I need to get on each day!
